Air Access /

The proposed development of Carlisle Airport holds huge economic potential for Britain’s Energy Coast™.

WA Developments plans to invest £35 million in the airport to increase freight and passenger flights. In turn this could offer significant benefits for both business and tourism in West Cumbria.

The Air Access project firstly seeks to lobby for the airport expansion. It also will push for new and improved infrastructure between the airport and West Cumbria, to ensure the area can also feel the economic benefit of any expanded airport.

Cumbria County Council is working with a host of partners and transport operators to push for Carlisle Airport’s development.
